Thank You for your interest in Temple Sinai! We welcome new members and hope that the following will answer any questions you might have.

We offer a full range of worship, education, and life cycle programs and events to satisfy the many and varying needs of our members and our community. Many of these activities appear in the monthly Sentinel calendar. Additional information can be obtained by calling the Temple office at 775-747-5508. Our Rabbi is available for private and personal consultation, also by calling the Temple office.

Temple Sinai plans its worship services, educational programs, and other activities to meet the needs and requests of our members. Most of our ongoing and one-time events are the direct result of member suggestions and involvement. Our worship service schedule has also evolved to meet the needs of our members, including Shabbat and Holiday services, Family services, services honoring our Teachers and volunteers, and so forth. Additional scheduled and one-time services can be and have been added at the request of our members and prospective members.

Like all religious organizations, Temple Sinai relies on the contributions of its members to exist. These contributions are made up of both money and time. Volunteers are essential to Temple Sinai, to support our many and varied activities and committees. We hope that each member will give of his or her time to support the Temple as a volunteer, whether running the gift shop, planning a program, assisting with Religious School or pulling weeds from our Food Bank Garden.
